Final Soccer Game and Party

Today was our final Soccer game of the regular season. The girls won their game! They fought hard and kept the other team from scoring at the end!

We had the team party today at John's Incredible Pizza as well. We had a good time. Cat won the team spirit award.

Today was also Sam's last full day in the States. Glad he made it to the game and party. We had a lot of fun getting to know him this fall. He will be missed!

Veteran's Day 2015

I am so grateful for those who serve in our military who keep our freedoms free. I have known many who have served and never really thanked them. This is a picture of my shelf in my piano room. It is my grandpa Darnold's flag from his memorial service. I was just 12 when he passed and I ended up with his flag, as it was in my grandmother's things. I am grateful to have this symbol of love and freedom in my house and it is something my kids see from day to day. I hope they understand what it means someday. So, thank you to all those who serve!

Dinner & UNO

We had such a fun night with these two guys. We had tacos for dinner with cake for dessert and then we played two rounds of UNO. Danny won the first round with Jack coming in second and Sam last. Jack won the second round with Sam coming on second. Such a fun time with them. We will miss them a lot when they go home. They are so much fun to talk to and hang out with. I'm very happy that we got to know them this fall thru the AYSO UK program. Danielle played in the Jamboree program with Jack and Sam.
