Dani's First Trip to Disneyland

I love the fall season at Disneyland. I guess it's because I love the fall colors. We took Dani for her first time on October 14th. They had already decorated for Halloween and the Haunted Mansion is all decorated for Christmas...Well the Nightmare Before Christmas. One of our favorite rides during this season.

 I decided I wanted a family picture in front of the pumpkin Mickey. So we all wore Halloween shirts. It turned out really cute.

Dani did a lot of sleeping during the day, which she should since she was only 3 months old. Disneyland has an awesome mother's lounge. The chairs leave a lot to be desired, but they have awesome changing tables and they have little potties for the little kids and high chairs for the older babies.

This sign cracked me up, so I had to get a picture of it.

Dani went on a few rides, but not as many as her daddy. She went on Buzz Light Year and Small World. Near the end of the ride, it broke down or something and we had to listen to the song over and over for about 20 minutes. By the time we got off the ride, the adults were sick of the song and Dani just wanted off the ride. We had a really fun day and we look forward to many more Disneyland trips!

Halloween 2011

Cat decided to be Cinderella this year. Her dress is big enough that she should be able to be Cinderella next year too.

12 Weeks

 Danielle is 12 weeks old today. Seems like yesterday that she was born. She is wearing 0-3 month clothes, size 1 diapers and she weighs a little over 11 lbs. Hard to believe she is almost 3 months old.

Dani loves to smile, especially when she is talked to. She has the cutest smile. When she smiles, she looks like her sister did when she was this age. Obviously they are related. 

Today the Primary performed their Primary Program. She did a really good job with her part and her songs. She wanted to wear a dress to match her little sister. Aren't they cute?!

10 Weeks

 The girls looked so cute in their matching sage dresses. Their grandma got them in Utah at Joleen's (joleenusa.com). They have some of the cutest dresses! Dani is getting to the pudgy stage so her face is kinda funky in this picture. Neither one of them was very excited about having their picture taken.

2 Months Old

I am officially two months old today. I got three shots when I went to the doctor for my well baby check up. Daddy says I cried. At least they gave me some tylenol. I've been sleeping most of the day.

First Day of Second Grade

Cat is now in Second Grade at Garden School. She is excited to have Ms. Shannon for a teacher this year. Ms. Shannon is also the Principal. We are looking forward to an excellent year!

Cat showed me that she can cross the monkey bars. She did a really good job! Very proud mom moment.

Here she is running off to play on something else before school starts. She got there early and had plenty of playground time. She is excited to play on the big kids playground. We are happy that there isn't as much sand that gets into her shoes. Maybe they will last longer this year before we need to replace them.

We dressed Dani in her Angels outfit for shopping for Cat's first day of school gift. Like crazy parents, we forgot to get it before the first day of school and have it on Cat's bed when she got home from school. This is something Dan's parents used to do for them. Makes the first day of school not so bad once you get home. So we let her pick out what she wanted...she got two games for her DSI. How did we know that was going to happen...?

8 Weeks

7 Weeks Old

Today Dani is 7 weeks old. She is still in newborn clothes and wears size 1 diapers. Not sure how much she weighs, but with as much as she eats, she's gotta be 8 pounds something.

We found this cute dress and tights at Sears. Pretty much the ONLY modest newborn dress. There were only two newborn dresses to choose from anyway.

Cat looked so cute for church today. We found the hat on clearance at Sears when we found Dani's dress. She loves her new hat and wants to wear it all the time. We have it safely put away during the week so it's perfect for Sundays.

Yardwork

Yesterday, Dan & Cat worked together in the backyard. It's fun to watch Daddy/Daughter projects in progress!

Cute girl was collecting oranges from the tree. Ultimately, she could only reach two oranges, but it was cute watching her try.

August 7th - Dani is 6 Weeks Old

Today Dani is 6 weeks old. She is not happy about having to sit on her own.

Much happier now. Grandma has me!

Earlier before we went to Grandma's for dinner, Cat played with her play-doh outside. She is practicing to be either a dentist or a dental technician, just like her grandpa.

 The weather was chilly and windy, but otherwise beautiful.

We decided to go to the beach on one of the days during Cat's spring break. It was windy and chilly, but totally worth it. We had a wonderful day together. I hope we can do it again sometime.
