Kids are TOO Funny!

I forgot, like a crazy person, to wash Dan's jumpsuits for work this past weekend. We had family in from out of town plus I've been fighting a cold for almost a week so ALL three of them were dirty! Dan called me to ask how to run the washer. So he gets his uniforms washed and dried and he tells me that Catarina kept coming out to him in the garage, where the washer and dryer are, and informed him "that's Momma's job!" It's funny she thinks that laundry is my job. On the other hand, I am the only one who does the laundry so maybe that's where she gets her thinking! What a cutie!

Strange Weather

So, we have been having some strange weather around here. This has actually been earthquake weather. So far, so good. It was in the triple digits this past weekend and it rained, hailed, and tornadoed yesterday and today. WOW! I'm loving the rain though. It means I don't have to water my yard and flowers. Mother nature is doing it for me. Plus with it being cool, I am saving electricity by not having the air conditioner on. YIPPY! Yep, I'm excited!

Right now it is gray and very overcast outside. Last time I looked outside (I work on the 3rd floor of my building) it was sprinkling. It's windy and chilly. I can handle this weather, except that I'd rather be home sleeping, curled up in front of the fireplace.

I'll post pictures of yesterday's weather on Cat's blog. I have some cute pics of her playing in the rain under our huge umbrella. She was soooo adorable yesterday, despite being a bit under the weather and extremely tired.

I am starting to feel a little bit better, but not 100% yet. I'm maybe around 40% right now. My hubby's brother and his wife are in town this weekend and we are really excited about the birth of their daughter this fall. She is the first granddaughter on Beth's side of the family. So, on Gary's side of the family, the girls outnumber the boys by 1, once she gets here... GIRLS RULE AND BOYS DROOL! LOL

Sick AGAIN!

I am soooo sick of being sick! The worst are the summer colds. Over the weekend it got up to 104 degrees and was 102 yesterday. Well, when you work in an office building or at home where the temperature is in the 70's.... Well you get the picture. I am trying to kick another sinus infection and today I have a post nasal drip that is killing me.... Catarina had it on Sunday so I am just a few days behind her. I HATE BEING SICK!!!

My Birthday

Well, not too much happened on my birthday. I spent the day at work then came home. My friend asked if she could take me to dinner. So, we went to the finest fast food establishment in Moreno Valley...Weinerschitzel! HA HA HA It was all her budget could afford...

We had the normal dinner then ice cream. Catarina and Megan had a good time with their ice cream!

After we finished we came back to my house and the girls played and Lanel and I visited until 9:30 p.m. Boy was it hard getting up the next morning to go to work... All in all, I had a pretty good birthday...

Dan's Bad Luck

Dan seems to have the worst luck in the world when it comes to vehicles. He has a good stretch for a minute then something else happens. I was waiting for him to come home from work this morning and he was later than usual. Finally I hear someone coming around the corner...griding gears. It turns out to be Dan's truck and the front bumper is riding on the front tire... Well, needless to say I didn't go to work today and stayed home to take care of the family. So much for going to Disneyland for my birthday... Plus the sister missionaries are coming over for dinner tonight. I had to take Catarina to get her staples out this morning before school. Never a dull moment at this household. I've included pics of Dan's truck... Enjoy... or not...
